A large late season pear developed by the Harrow Research Station in Ontario. Harrow Sweet ripens 3-4 weeks after common Bartlett through the October period. This hardy, vigorous tree has demonstrated high resistance to Fireblight. The tree is a very heavy cropper with large, sweet pears that have a reddish blush over yellow/green. Another pear variety is recommended for pollination, such as Bartlett. Wildlife: Whitetail and Turkey.

Planting Zones 5-8.

*Harrow Sweet, Shenandoah, Beurre D'Anjou and Seckel Pear trees are very large (5/8-1" diameter) this year, with limbs and height typically cut down to fit staggered into our large 7' shipping boxes. Approximately 15-20 pear trees fit into our largest box. We will contact you if additional shipping cost occur at the time of shipping. These varieties are budded onto OHXF 97.
